Руководители партии и фракции «Батьківщина» пристально следят за объединением с «Фронтом змін» (ФЗ). В сентябре глава центрального штаба партии Юлии Тимошенко Александр Турчинов сообщил, что партийцев стало на 12 000 больше. Но это только половина правды. Источники Forbes во фракции «Батьківщина» сообщают, что параллельно с объединением идет еще один процесс: бывшие однопартийцы Яценюка из ФЗ, в том числе не вступившие в «Батьківщину» нардепы, ведут переговоры о создании новой партии на основе «Фронта».
