На початку квітня стартап Tanium, що працює в сфері інформаційної безпеки, підняв $52 млн інвестицій від Andreessen Horowitz, а загальна оцінка виросла до $1,75 млрд. Раніше стартап залучив ще $190 млн на розвиток від тих же Andreessen Horowitz і GitHub. Приклад успішного фінансування Tanium не єдиний на ринку. За даними Financial Times, за 2014 рік в стартапи у сфері безпеки вклали близько $2 млрд, тільки за перші чотири місяці 2015 року – вже $1 млрд.

Після великого скандалу з Sony Pictures минулого року, компанії дедалі активніше займаються проблемою захисту власних даних і готові інвестувати додаткові кошти в їх збереження.

Захищатися є від чого: щодня у світі відбувається близько 100 000 кібератак. За інформацією агентства Zecurion, втрати від просочувань інформації за рік становлять понад $18 млрд. Напідставі звіту Zecurion Forbes підготував порівняльну характеристику обсягів та специфіки просочувань інформації у світі та Україні.

Збитки українських та світових компаній від просочувань інформації

Втім, кібератаки – не єдина причина втрати даних: великий відсоток займає втрата фізичних (флешки) і нефізичних (друковані документи) носіїв.

України в масштабі світових втрат не видно: $25 млн проти $18 млрд. Найчастіше інформацію крадуть через веб-сервіси та фізичні носії.

У половині компаній лише одна людина займається захистом інформації даних, тоді як 4 з 5 компаній стикалися з витоком даних. Крадуть найчастіше інформацію про клієнтів прямо з CRM.
