Ericsson Networked Society Lab опубликовала прогноз развития медиа-рынка на ближайшее будущее.

Основные выводы исследования:

  1. Развитие узкоспециализированных медиа. В ближайшие годы ожидается рост спроса на локальные новости и нишевые темы. Читатели будут выбирать новости самостоятельно.
  2. Пользователи будут сами решать, кого читать. Наступление цифровой эры сносит все преграды. Любой человек с качественным контентом может привлечь достаточное количество аудитории для заработка.
  3. Цифровой контент заменит всю печатную продукцию. Сегодня от 60 до 70% расходов традиционных изданий уходит на полиграфию и дистрибуцию. Цифровой контент создаётся быстрее и дешевле, его легче персонализировать.
  4. Переход к системе «Контент по запросу». В конечном итоге, ТВ и радио будут предоставлять контент по запросу. А крупные мероприятия будут транслироваться вживую.
  5. Роль «мобильных» новостей возрастает. Сегодня потребители проводят больше времени за мобильными девайсами, нежели за компьютерами. Новости станут первым типом контента, который будет подстраиваться под различные разрешения экранов.
  6. Более персонализированный контент. Одни и те же статьи могут быть написаны индивидуально под каждого читателя
  7. Активное распространение виртуальной и дополненной реальностей. Потребители будут не просто смотреть или читать новости – они смогут их «переживать» так, будто сами находятся в центре событий. Ожидается, что к 2020 году в VR инвестируют $150 млрд.
  8. Реклама станет умнее. 58% потребителей утверждают, что текущая онлайн-реклама нерелевантна. Анализ поведения пользователя (поисковая история и манера публикации постов) поможет понять, что и когда потребителям требуется.
  9. Журналистика становится сервисом. Персонализированные СМИ будут заботится о нуждах каждого пользователя, предлагая соответствующие сервисы. Потребители смогут платить за персонализированную информацию. Например, за рекомендации по ресторанам города.
  10. Развитие «робожурналистики». Алгоритмы искусственного интеллекта и программное обеспечение сделают работу медиа-компаний более продуктивной и эффективной.
