Про це «Тексти» заявило на своєму сайті, назвавши такий вчинок невідомих «дезінформацією», пише  Media Sapiens
 

«Сьогодні, 25-02-2019 року, ми з'ясували, що невідома третя сторона запустила банерну кампанію з використанням логотипу «Текстів». Банер містив маніпулятивні твердження, котрі не відповідали тексту новини на яку він вів. Ми його помітили на мобільному додатку EasyWay, можливо, він з'являється й на інших ресурсах», — сказано в повідомленні.

За словами представників «Текстів», вони не замовляли в жодної агенції такого рекламного контенту.

«Ми не замовляли та не розміщували жодних банерів. Ми не хочемо, щоб наш сайт використовували як майданчик для інформаційних операцій — не має значення, хто ці операції здійснює. Тому ми вирішили зняти з сайту оригінальний текст новини, на яку вів банер», — підкреслюють вони.

Нагадаємо, нещодавно інтернет-видання «Тексти» разом з Інститутом масової інформації (ІМІ) підготувало гру з медіаграмотності. Вона отримала назву «Маніпулятор» та присвячена маніпуляціям у ЗМІ.
