Президент Чехії Мілош Земан на урочистостях у російському посольстві з нагоди Дня перемоги над нацизмом зауважив, що не має чого випити до тосту.

Земан виступив з промовою, яку він виголосив російською мовою.

"На закінчення я хотів би тост на здоров'я. Але мені дали тільки мінералку", - сказав на закінчення свого привітання президент.

У зустрічі взяли участь також колишній президент Вацлав Клаус та деякі інші політики.

Земан відомий своїми ісламофобськими поглядами та підтримкою скасування санкцій Євросоюзу проти Росії, а також пропонує пробачити Росії анексію Криму, виплативши Україні грошову компенсацію.
