Самка попугая по имени Джесси, которая долго не могла спуститься с крыши дома в Лондоне, обматерила приехавших на помощь пожарных. Когда один из спасателей поднялся к птице по лестнице и сказал «Я тебя люблю» (ему объяснили, что так можно завоевать ее расположение), Джесси ответила: «Я тебя люблю». А затем добавила: «Иди на ***».

 

Джесси сбежала из своего дома и три дня сидела на крыше соседнего дома. Ее хозяева и представители Королевского общества по предотвращению жестокого обращения с животными не смогли уговорить птицу спуститься, и, опасаясь, что попугай ранен, вызвали пожарных.

«[Во время разговора] мы обнаружили, что птица любит сквернословить, и ее ругань позабавила нас, —  

 

Вскоре выяснилось, что попугай в порядке: Джесси на глазах у пожарных перелетела на другую крышу, а затем на дерево. Позже она вернулась к хозяевам. На видео, записанном после возвращения домой, птица скромно признается в любви спасателям.
