Заступник прем’єр-міністра Італії і лідер популістичного "Руху 5 зірок" Луїджі Ді Майо звинуватив італійські газети у "забрудненні дебатів" та погрожує забороною на розміщення в них реклами для державних компаній.

Про це повідомляє Euractiv.

"Газети... зараз забруднюють публічні дебати кожен день, а найгірше те, що вони роблять це з державними грошима", - написав Ді Майо у соцмережах.

Він попередив, що у наступному бюджеті уряд планує "скорочення непрямих державних внесків" для преси.

"Ми готуємо лист до державних компаній, щоб попросити їх припинити оплачувати газети через купівлю реклами", - зазначив Ді Майо.

Керівники "Руху 5 зірок" переконані, що традиційна преса намагається підірвати їх правлячий альянс з правою партією "Ліга".

В останні тижні Ді Майо, а також прем'єр-міністр Джузеппе Конте та кілька міністрів від "Ліги", які переважно спілкуються через Twitter і Facebook, розпочали атаки на традиційну пресу.

"Це не журналістика, це просто пропаганда, яка прагне захищати інтереси маленьких еліт, які думають, що вони зможуть продовжувати контролювати, коли йде дощ, а коли світить сонце. Я читаю італійські газети не для того, щоб бути поінформованими...а лише щоб зрозуміти, як вони хочуть нас атакувати", - заявив Ді Майо.
