Министра обороны Великобритании Гэвина Уильямсона уволили после его заявлений в частных беседах о сахарном диабете и некомпетентности премьер-министра Терезы Мэй, пишет The Times.

По данным издания, Мэй возмутило поведение Уильямсона после его заявлений к членам Консервативной партии будто она должна покинуть работу по состоянию здоровья.

Сообщается, что это слышал высокопоставленный партийный чиновник, который сообщил о разговоре на Даунинг-стрит.

"Абсолютно возмутительно, что он пытается использовать против нее ее же состояние здоровья", - сказал один из союзников Мэй.

В свою очередь, Уильямсон отрицает свои высказывания о состоянии здоровья премьер-министра.
