Мужчин-чиновников Лепабского региона на востоке Туркменистана старше 40 лет обязали ходить с седыми волосами, сообщил корреспондент региональной службы Радио Свобода. Таким образом госслужащие должны уподобиться президенту страны Гурбангулы Бердымухамедову, который стал появляться на публике с сединой в августе 2018 года, передает Радио Свобода

С первого февраля чиновникам, сотрудникам школ и больниц запрещено подкрашивать волосы, утверждает Туркменская служба РС. Тем, у кого сохранился естественный цвет волос, нужно подкрасить их в седину. В случае, если президент, носящий официальный титул Твердыни, опоры и надежды, посетит регион с визитом, допускаться к нему будут в основном седые чиновники, передаёт издание со ссылкой на два источника.

В январе 2019 года государственные учреждения Туркмении, в том числе школы, обязали закупить новые портреты Бердымухамедова. На них он изображён с сединой, в то время как раньше на официальных портретах глава государства был с чёрными волосами. До получения этого поста в 2007 году он тоже ходил с сединой. Пока он её скрывал, руководство требовало от лепабских бюджетников делать так же, передаёт Туркменская служба.

Издание отмечает, что не смогло получить официальные комментарии по этой теме.
