У слідчому ізоляторі Тулуза-Сейс, що у Франції, вʼязням подарували сеанси масажу для обличчя до Дня святого Валентина, а також провели уроки танців. Після цього міністр юстиції країни наказав припинити розважальні заходи у вʼязницях.

Раніше профспілка тюремних охоронців обурилася організації акції з нагоди Дня святого Валентина для увʼязнених. За даними газети La Dépêche, у слідчому ізоляторі приблизно 20 людям зробили масаж обличчя.

«Минулого тижня це були танці у стилі кантрі. Я вважаю шокуючим, що ґвалтівник, крадій може отримати від цього вигоду. Їх карають за серйозні вчинки, ми також повинні думати про жертв!» — заявляв секретар в'язниці в Сейсе Жером Комбель.

Після публічних обговорень на інцидент відреагував і міністр юстиції Франції Жеральд Дарманен.

«Немає жодного питання про проведення розважальних заходів, які шокують усіх наших співгромадян, і які глибоко шокували мене, коли я дізнався, про цю безоплатну діяльність», — заявив він. 

Міністр доручив надіслати вказівки для всіх директорів пенітенціарних центрів та в’язниць, щоб «повністю обмежитися» освітою, французькою мовою та спортом для увʼязнених та припинити «діяльність, причину якої ніхто не розуміє».
