В одном из зданий итальянской столицы, которое расположено всего за сто метров от Ватикана, началась работа заведения быстрого питания McDonald's. Как передает PRпортал, владельцем дома, в котором будет находиться ресторан, является один из центральных органов Католической церкви.
Согласно данным телеканала NBC News, реакция верующих на данное событие была далеко не положительной. Открытый в одном из зданий Ватикана ресторан уже был окрещен людьми как McVatican. Принимая во внимание данный факт, в администрации заведения было решено отказаться от церемонии открытия.
При этом в представительстве Ватикана отказались от комментария новости о том что в принадлежавшему им зданию был открыт американский фаст-фуд. Пока что известно, что каждый месяц Апостольский престол будет получать от McDonald's тридцать тысяч долларов в качестве арендной платы. Работа McVatican будет ежедневной с 6:30 утра до 23:00. Согласно имеющейся сейчас информации, между меню традиционного McDonald's и тем, который открылся в Риме, никаких отличий не будет. В непосредственной близости к этому заведению располагаются еще два ресторана самой популярной в мире американской компании.
