В Індонезії на футбольному полі сталася масштабна бійка. Через тисняву загинули щонайменше 129 людей.

Захід відбувся на стадіоні в місті Маланзі у Східній Яві. Трагедія трапилася після матчу двох команд Persebaya Surabaya та Arema FC, яка програла.

Вболівальники команди, яка зазнала поразки, ринулися на поле. У відповідь поліція застосувала сльозогінний газ. Внаслідок цього утворилася тиснява, коли фанати бігли до виходу. Натовп призвів до випадків задухи.

Начальник поліції Східної Яви Ніко Афінта заявив, що коли вболівальники вибігли на поле, то стався анархічний бунт. За його словами, люди стали нападати на офіцерів і пошкоджували машини.

Серед загиблих є жінки, діти та двоє поліцейських. Отримали поранення 180 людей.

Подія стала найбільшою трагедією на футбольному полі. Міністр спорту та молоді Індонезії Зайнудін Амалі доручив провести розслідування.
