В Ленинском районе Екатеринбурга новорожденного назвали Крымом в честь присоединения к России полуострова. Отчество у мальчика Александрович, пишут «Известия».

По данным издания, это первый ребенок с таким именем в РФ. В то же время за последние 3 года в нашей стране появилось несколько девочек с именем Олимпиада: пять — в Санкт-Петербурге, две — в Краснодарском крае и одна — в Нижнем Новгороде.

«Присоединение Крыма к России — знаменательное событие для каждого россиянина, и регистрация ребенка с именем — названием полуострова — не является из ряда вон выходящей ситуацией, хотя она и нестандартна. Испокон веков в русских семьях наречение детей восходило всё же к церковному именнику. В начале XX века огромной популярностью пользовались так называемые красные имена — они давались в честь деятелей революции. И не только советской, но и французской. Например, детей нарекали Маратами», — рассказал директор исследовательского центра «История фамилии» Владимир Максимов.

Он отметил, что имя Крым существует сотни лет у тюркских народов, передает «Уралинформбюро».
