10 февраля, в одном из крупнейших изданий Доминиканской Республики был опубликован материал об американском президенте Дональде Трампе, однако редакторы перепутали главу США с голливудским актером Алеком Болдуином, ярым противником Трампа, передает ВВС.
Редакторы, вместо снимка Трампа, опубликовали фото Болдуина в образе Трампа, которого актер изображал в одном из комедийных шоу, пользующемся большой популярностью в США. Позже редакция издания поняла, какую ошибку совершила, и принесла свои извинения. Журналисты El Nacional написали в Твиттере о том, что приносят извинения, однако было уже поздно. Фотография Болдуина вызвала бурную реакцию в Интернете, а пользователи начали шутить из-за ошибки редакторов.
Позже уже и на сайте газеты появилось сообщение о том, что редакция извиняется перед всеми своими читателями и теми, кто почувствовал себя обиженным из-за этой ошибки. СамДональд Трамп никак не прокомментировал эту оплошность. Нужно отметить, что Алек Болдуин очень любит выступать в образе Трампа, а во время предвыборной гонки неоднократно критиковал президента.
