Пользователи твиттера, комментируя инцидент, отметили, что журналист выглядел уставшим и сонным, однако сам Уиндхорст отрицает факт того, что уснул в прямом эфире. Он заявил, что зрители неправильно расценили происходящее и добавил, что на самом деле опустил глаза лишь для того, чтобы посмотреть на экран своего телефона.
