Лідер більшості в Сенаті демократ Чак Шумер разом із сенатором-республіканцем Майком Раундзом підготували правки до закону про національну оборону на 64 сторінки, щоб уряд нарешті міг розкрити файли про «невстановлені аномальні явища» або UAP. 

 «Протягом десятиліть багато американців були зачаровані таємничими та незрозумілими об’єктами… Тож громадськість має право знати про технології невідомого походження, позаземний інтелект і невстановлені явища», — зазначив Шумер. 

Сенатори пропонують оприлюднити всі записи про UAP строком давності 25 років за умови, що вони не загрожують національній безпеці США.
