У селі Кунин, за 20 км від Жовкви, своєрідно відновили встановлений там у 1966 році пам’ятник Богданові Хмельницькому, розфарбувавши його яскравими кольорами. Оригінальний результат став приводом для жартів і обурення у соцмережах. Як виявилось, це вже другий пам'ятник на території сільської громади, який так оригінально відреставрували.

Встановлений 46 років тому на в'їзді в село пам’ятник гетьману Богданові Хмельницькому виготовлений з залізобетону і залишався однотонним до 29 червня 2021 року, коли Магерівсько-Добросинська сільська рада, до якої входить село Кунин, опублікувала у Facebook фото пам’ятника після реставрації. «Ще одну пам’ятку архітектури, а саме пам’ятник Богданові Хмельницькому, що в Кунині, відреставрувала громадська організація "Твори добро+". І це лише початок їхньої роботи в Добросинсько-Магерівській громаді», – похвалились у сільраді.

Судячи з опублікованих фото, раніше від пам’ятника відкололись кілька незначних фрагментів, також був надщерблений постамент. Роботи з реставрації провела ГО «Твори добро+», про що свідчить великий логотип на постаменті. Прикметно, що це єдиний напис на постаменті – очевидно, автори реставрації впевнені, що Хмельницького і так усі впізнають.

Найцікавіше, що після відновлення пам’ятник став кольоровим: малиновий жупан, коричнева накидка з малиновою ж підкладкою, червоно-коричнева шапка, темно-сірі шаровари і жовта гетьманська булава за поясом.

Незвичний вигляд пам'ятника у Кунині очікувано викликав критичну реакцію і став приводом для жартів.

За даними YouControl, засновниками ГО «Твори Добро+» є мешканець міста Комарно Іван Іваницький та мешканець Жовківського району Володимир Горбань. Іван Іваницький розповів ZAXID.NET, що члени громадської організації не є реставраторами, а просто вирішили відновити пам’ятник, який руйнувався.
