У Росії митрополит Новосибірський і Бердський Тихон на прем'єрі опери «Різдво» Іраіди Сальникової в Новосибірському театрі опери та балету охарактеризував балет Петра Чайковського «Лускунчик» «окультною постановкою», пише УНІАН .

Про це повідомляє місцевий сайт «НГС». Перед початком опери митрополит Тихон у своїй промові назвав нову оперу альтернативою балету «Лускунчик», який часто ставлять саме в грудні-січні. «Лускунчик — він, вважається, що принц-перевертень, така окультна постановка, тому, якщо вже говорити про наші традиції, то хотілося б, щоб свято відображало сутність Різдва Христового», – заявив він. Композитор опери «Різдво» — дружина новосибірського священика РПЦ Іраїда Сальникова.

В основу лібрето опери ліг євангельський сюжет про Різдво, а хор під час постановки виконує твори на вірші російських поетів, — пояснила Сальникова.

«Різдво» — не перша постановка Іраіди Сальникової в НОВАТі. У минулому році вона представляла публіці ораторію про князя Володимира. Зазначимо, час від часу церковні служителі Російської православної церкви дивують своїми заявами. Так, у листопаді минулого року патріарх РПЦ Кирило назвав Ісуса Христа "лузером".
