У Києві в одному з університетів керівництво вирішило зробити подарунок жінкам до 8 березня - там помпезно відкрили відремонтований жіночий туалет. Захід супроводжувався виступом ректора, урочистим перерізанням стрічки і бурхливими оплесками.

Про допомогу з ремонтом приміщення жіночого туалету працівниці і студентки Київського державного університету телекомунікацій просили адміністрацію закладу раніше. Вбиральня давно вимагала поліпшення умов.

Ректор університету відреагував і вирішив допомогти, а відкриття туалету приурочив до Міжнародного жіночого дня 8 березня.

Урочисте відкриття туалету супроводжувалося музикою, святковою промовою ректора і бурхливими оваціями.

Повідомлення про урочисте відкриття туалету викликало жваве обговорення в мережі - українці не шкодували епітетів і метафор для опису свого ставлення до "події".
