У понеділок, 20 серпня, у хорватському місті Спліт відбулося відкриття почесного консульства України в Хорватії
 

Про це на своїй сторінці у Facebook повідомив почесний консул України в Хорватії Івіца Пірич, передає Еспресо.ТВ

На церемонії відкриття були присутні прем'єр-міністр Хорватії Андрей Пленкович, а також міністр оборони Хорватії, голови МВС та МЗС країни. З українського боку консульство відкривали перша леді України Марина Порошенко та міністр закордонних справ Павло Клімкін.

"Дякую всім за підтримку, я цього дня чекав два роки, великий день для України і Хорватії. Слава Україні і Хорватії", - написав Пірич.

Між тим на фото можна помітити, що на табличці дипустанови зроблена помилка: її назва українською зазначена  як "Почесне консульство Україна в Хорватії". Написання цієї ж назви хорватською мовою зроблене без помилок: тут назва нашої держави зазначена не у називному, а у родовому відмінку ("України").
