Он сделал это, рассказывая о переговорах с представителями Японии и Китая. Возмутившие публику слова прозвучали во время выступления перед избирателями в Айове, сообщает Лента.ру

«Когда эти люди приходят к вам, они не говорят: “Привет, как дела? На улице так красиво! Как там дела у янки? Отлично, да? Ну и замечательно!” Они говорят: “Мы хотим сделка!” (We want deal!)» — рассказал Трамп о манере общения с азиатскими партнерами.

Он использовал этот прием, чтобы раскритиковать своего конкурента-однопартийца Джеба Буша. Буш, по словам Трампа, «человек низкой энергии», а сам политик привык общаться с «убийцами, с людьми, которые…», — на этой фразе республиканец запнулся и, имитируя боевой клич, стал размахивать руками, словно нанося удары по воздуху. Он уверен, что «низкоэнергетичный» Буш, услышав такие слова азиатских контрагентов, «выпрыгнет из кресла».

К середине августа с рейтингом в 22 процента Трамп опережал Буша, которого еще недавно считали республиканским фаворитом, почти в два раза. Об этом свидетельствуют опрос CNN и маркетинговой компании ORC International, а также данные Fox News.
