Президент США Дональд Трамп отримав у подарунок від глави Міжнародної федерації футболу (ФІФА) Джанні Інфантіно жовту і червоні картки, які традиційно використовуються в футбольних матчах. Подарунок був піднесений під час зустрічі Інфантіно з Трампом в Овальному кабінеті Білого дому в присутності представників преси, повідомляє "Новое время" з посиланням на FoxNews. 

Судді в футболі мають жовті і червоні картки. Жовта картка - це попередження", - сказав Інфантіно, діставши після цього червону і додавши, що вона потрібна, "якщо ви хочете дискваліфікувати кого-небудь".

Трамп взяв червону картку в руки і показав її журналістам. "Дуже добре. Мені подобається", - оцінив подарунок американський лідер. На зустрічі Інфантіно і Трампа обговорювалася підготовка до Чемпіонату світу з футболу 2026 року, який США будуть проводити спільно з Мексикою і Канадою.
