Американська «Сатанинська церква» (Satanic Temple) досягла угоди з Netflix і Warner Bros за позовом на $50 млн через хорор-серіал «Моторошні пригоди Сабріни», пише ТheБабель із посиланням на The Guardian.
Про що йдеться?
У кінці жовтня на Netflix стартував серіал «Моторошні пригоди Сабріни», який засновано на однойменному коміксі. У серіалі юна Сабріна Спеллман намагається примиритися зі своєю подвійною натурою напіввідьми- напівсмертної, борючись із силами зла, які загрожують їй, її сім'ї та усьому світу людей.
Сатаністи звинувачували компанії в тому, що вони використали в серіалі копію створеної ними статуї Бафомета (одного з демонів Сатани). Більш того, «Сатанинська церква» перед цим заявляла, що використовує окультну символіку не для поклоніння темним силам, а для пропаганди свободи віросповідання, толерантності та боротьби з політичним лобіюванням християнських організацій.
Що тепер?
«Сатанинська Церква» дійшла згоди з Warner Bros і Netflix. Творці серіалу зазначать авторство «Сатанинської церкви» в титрах уже відзнятих епізодів серіалу. Інші деталі угоди не розголошуються.
- Перед цим Netflix і лос-анджелеський бренд 40s & Shorties створили спільну колекцію одягу, присвячену серіалу «Нарко».
- На початку жовтня Bloomberg писав, що Netflix дозволить глядачам вибирати, як закінчиться епізод у новому сезоні науково-фантастичного серіалу «Чорне дзеркало».
- За місяць до цього стало відомо, що Netflix працює над екранізацією серіалу «Відьмак», заснованого на однойменних творах Анджея Сапковського і серії компʼютерних ігор польських розробників CD Projekt RED.
