Организаторы сахалинского этапа конкурса "Учитель года" решили поменять дизайн статуэток пеликана, которые вручали победителям соревнования педагогического соревнования. Об этом рассказали на сегодняшней конференции, посвященной конкурсу.

Во всей видимости, в минобре сделали вывод после церемонии награждения в 2020 году. Тогда поднимающиеся на сцену педагоги по традиции должны были коснуться символа конкурса - хрустального пеликана. Большая часть женщин-учителей так и сделала, а вот мужчина-педагог поступил иначе. Причиной этому мог стать странный вид символа конкурса.

Сходство символа педагогического конкурса с определённым фалическим предметом заметили пользователи соцсетей. Каким станет новый дизайн призовой статуэтки, не уточнили.

В 2021 году в конкурсе принимают участие 25 педагогов из 15 муниципальных образований Сахалинской области - учителя физики, начальных классов, английского языка, географии, информатики и ИКТ, ОБЖ, русского языка и литературы, биологии, дефектологи (логопеды), педагоги-психологи, воспитатели.

Впервые за всю историю областного конкурса в нём участвуют педагоги из Северо-Курильска (СОШ Северо-Курильска учитель информатики и учитель географии; воспитатель детского сада "Северянка" Северо-Курильск).
