Російський закон зобов'язує ЗМІ згадувати організації з «екстремістського» списку Мін'юсту РФ із вказівкою про те, що ці організації ліквідовані або їхня діяльність заборонена

Російське видання «Газета.ру» назвало річку Упу в Тверській області «забороненою в Росії організацією». У статтях видань «Дни.Ру» і «ПолитЭксперт» назва тульської річки супроводжується аналогічними дописами.

На це звернув увагу автор проекту «Архитектурные излишества» Павло Гнілорибов, пише Tjournal.

Він припустив, що це доповнення автоматично ставить бот через омонімічність назви річки зі скороченням УПА (Українська повстанська армія).

Колишній співробітник «Газеты.ру» підтвердив Tjournal, що як мінімум з 2018 року примітки про заборонені в Росії організації додавалися в тексти автоматично. У частині матеріалів, які згадують УПА, робот додає цю позначку кілька разів.

Російський закон «Про засоби масової інформації» зобов'язує ЗМІ згадувати організації з «екстремістського» списку Мін'юсту РФ із вказівкою про те, що ці організації ліквідовані або їхня діяльність заборонена. УПА внесена до списку екстремістських у 2014 році.
