Курйозний випадок стався в ефірі парламентського телеканалу Рада. Під час повідомлення про смерть голови Європарламенту Давида Сассолі показали фото спікера Верховної ради Руслана Стефанчука, прикріпивши знизу напис "раптово помер". Про це стало відомо з прямої трансляції на YouTube-каналі "Ради".
Так, на екрані показали повідомлення про смерть Сассолі: "Пішов з життя справжній друг України, президент Європарламенту, Давид-Марія Сассолі. Під час російської ескалації на кордонах України навесні 2021 року він закликав Російську Федерацію зробити крок назад. А також неодноразово наполягав на санкціях проти Росії та Білорусі. Висловлюю щире співчуття рідним, близьким і всім друзям. Вічна пам'ять".
При цьому замість фото голови Європарламенту показали фото спікера парламенту Руслана Стефанчука. Кадр вибудували так, що напис "раптово помер" опинився прямо під фото спікера українського парламенту.
