Президент Росії Володимир Путін 20 червня наприкінці "Прямої лінії" ледве не заплакав, відповідаючи на запитання, чи буває йому соромно.

Російський президент розповів історію про записку, яку йому на початку 2000-х передала жінка похилого віку, впавши на коліна.

В результаті лист нібито загубили помічники, а Путін його так і не прочитав. Згадуючи цю історію, президент РФ майже розплакався. За його словами, йому досі соромно через цей випадок. На відео помітно, як в нього тремтять губи.

"Я сказав, що подивлюся. Забрав, віддав помічникам. І її втратили. Ніколи цього не забуду. Мені досі соромно, - сказав президент РФ. - Напевно там було щось про допомогу синові, який сидить у в'язниці, або щось в цьому роді. Але її втратили".
