Президент Чехії Мілош Земан і його російський колега Володимир Путін пожартували про ліквідацію журналістів.

У Пекіні під час двосторонньої зустрічі на полях форуму, присвяченого проекту нового "Шовкового шляху", чеський президент Земан жартома запропонував Путіну "ліквідувати" журналістів, тому що їх "занадто багато".

Путін у відповідь пожартував: "Ліквідовувати не треба. Скоротити можна".

Росія знаходиться на 148-му місці в рейтингу свободи ЗМІ за минулий рік, підготовленому міжнародною правозахисною організацією "Репортери без кордонів". Чехія займає 21-е місце.
