Прем'єрміністр Ізраїлю Бенджамін Нетаньяху заявив на засіданні уряду, що зустрівся з Борисом Єльциним під час свого візиту до Лондона у вихідні, переплутавши його з прем'єрміністром Великої Британії Борисом Джонсоном. 

Відео курйозу з'явилося на сторінці ізраїльського прем'єра у Twitter, передає Haaretz.

"Я повернувся з дуже приємного візиту до Лондона, де я зустрівся з прем'єріністром Борисом Єльциним та міністром оборони США", - сказав Нетаньяху на початку зустрічі. 

Його підлеглі швидко почали його поправляти, припустивши, що він мав на увазі "Джонсона", а усміхнений Нетаньягу відповів, сказавши, що він просто перевіряє їхню уважність

Борис Єльцин, який помер 2007-го році, був першим президентом Російської Федерації між 1991 та 1999 роками. Термін Єльцина перекрив перший термін прем'єрміністра Нетаньяху між 1996 та 1999 роками.

Користувачі Twitter швидко відреагував на останній конфуз Нетаньяху, опублікувавши низку дотепних жартів. 

Це не перший подібний конфуз Нетаньяху. У березні він заявив, що перебуває з офіційним візитом в Афганістані, переплутавши його з Азербайджаном.

У грудні минулого року Нетаньяху заявив, що його дружина Сара перебувала з офіційним державним візитом у Нікарагуа, коли насправді вона була у Гватемалі.
