Заступник постійного представника Росії при ООН Володимир Сафронков грубо відповів на звинувачення в підтримці президента Сирії Башара Асада.

У своїй заяві Сафронков звернувся до представника Великобританії в ООН Меттью Райкрофта, називаючи його на "ти", пише Українська правда

"Ви злякалися, сон втратили, що ми будемо співпрацювати зі Сполученими Штатами. Ви цього боїтеся. Всі робите для того, щоб ця взаємодія була підірвана... Подивися на мене, очі не відводь, що ти очі відводиш?" - сказав Сафронков Райкрофтові.

"Ти сьогодні говорив, пане Райкрофте, не за порядком денним засідання, ображав Сирію, Іран, Туреччину, інші держави... Не смій ображати Росію більше", - додав він.

Більше того, самі російські ЗМІ почали називати Володимир Сафронков - гопником
