Мама дівчини Крістін Лівдал розповіла в Twitter, що разом із донькою виконувала різні челенджі під час поганої погоди. Коли в Alexa попросили дати ще одне завдання, голосова помічниця запропонувала Penny Challenge, поширений у соцмережі TikTok. «Підключіть зарядний пристрій приблизно наполовину в розетку, а потім доторкніться пенні до відкритих зубців», — сказала Alexa. Коли почула завдання Лівдал втрутилася та вигукнула: «Ні, Alexa, ні!». Вона додала, що її дочка «достатньо розумна, щоб робити щось подібне».
У Amazon заявили, що оновили голосову помічницю відразу, як дізналися про помилку, і тепер вона не повинна пропонувати небезпечні завдання.
