В печатном издании «КП в Украине» от 17 октября 2018 года в материале под названием «Как нам разбогатеть. Украину назвали самой бедной страной Европы» в качестве иллюстрации к материалу разместили фотографию, на которой читатели узнали известного украинского художника Ивана Марчука. Под снимком – подпись: «Страна-то у нас богатая, только денег у народа нет». Оплошность бильд-редактора на своей странице в Фейсбуке отметил фотограф Владислав Мусиенко, передает Детектор медиа

«На днях одна газетка проиллюстрировала статью про бедность фотографией Ивана Марчука, – написал Мусиенко. – В статье есть про Папуа-Новую Гвинею и про зарплату официантки, но ни одного слова про живопись. Там же целая редакция журналистов, откуда им знать, кто такой Марчук».

А Иван Марчук, между тем, известный украинский художник, который в 2007 году попал в список 100 выдающихся гениев современности британской газеты The Daily Telegraph.
