Обраний президент Мексики Андрес Мануель Лопес Обрадор, який вступить на посаду 1 грудня, заявив, що після переїзду в президентський палац натягне в ньому гамак. Слова лідера Мексики передає РИА «Новости».

Раніше Обрадор заявляв, що не буде користуватися президентською резиденцією «Сосни» в дорогому районі Мехіко. Він обіцяв, що замість цього буде постійно жити в Національному палаці на центральній площі Сокало. «Я не буду закривати палац, ні!

Мені потрібно небагато місця, лише щоб поставити складне ліжко і натягнути гамак», — сказав Обрадор. У даний момент Національний палац одночасно виконує функції національного музею та міської президентської резиденції. Він знаходиться в районі, який не відноситься до числа найпрестижніших.
