Netflix випустив продовження серіалу «Емілі у Парижі» про пригоди молодої американки у французькій столиці. У одній із серій героїня знайомиться з українкою, яка зображена крадійкою. Образ нерозумної блондинки викликав обурення користувачів в мережах. Так, PR-директор в M1 Music Awards Анна Фещенко назвала створений образ расизмом.

Міністр культури Олександр Ткаченко також зазначив в телеграмі, що карикатурний образ українки є неприйнятним та образливим. Міністр зазначив, що направить текст позиції Netflix.
