В російському місті Архангельск відбулась урочиста церемонія відкриття пам'ятника Іосіфу Сталіну на парковці місцевого бізнес-центру. Про це повідомляє сторінка «OnLine Архангельск» у мережі vkontakte.

Як повідомляє «Новая Газета», ініціатором встановлення пам'ятника став депутат архангельскої міської Думи від Комуністичної партії.

Пам'ятник представляє собою триметрову стелу і бюст із граніту та бронзи.

«Такого зображення Сталіна ще не було. Комірець його шинелі ледь відігнутий, наче його колише вітер, а сам Сталін нерухомий, не згинається», — розповів депутат виданню FlashNord.

«Тепер ми маємо для столиці Поморської Півночі свій, авторський, ніде не повторюваний пам'ятник — символ, що покликаний об'єднати російський народ», — додав він.

Відзначається, що не зважаючи на урочисте відкриття 24 грудня, сам пам’ятник потайки встановили ще у жовтні, а завезли у місто ще у травні.
