Самые популярные из подобных устройств
делает датская компания Veo Technologies. По словам её представителей, систему приобрели более двух тысяч команд, в основном — клубы из низших лиг и юношеские составы грандов вроде «Ливерпуля». Камеру подвешивают на стадионе — и она сама следит за мячом без помощи оператора и продюсера, тем самым позволяя транслировать игры.
Неизвестно, была у «Инвернесса» камера от Veo Technologies или аналог от другого производителя, но на игре с «Эр Юнайтед» что-то пошло не по плану. По словам болельщиков, ИИ-камера то и дело путала футбольный мяч с головой лысого лайнсмена (боковой судья). Один из твитов на эту тему широко разошёлся: в нём отмечалось, что за поведение «умной» камеры извинялся комментатор.
