Деніс Хоф був власником публічного будинку у Неваді, учасником телевізійних шоу для дорослих та автором книги "Мистецтво сутенера".

Деніс Хоф балотувався від республіканської партії і переміг представницю демократичної партії Лесю Романів.

Хофа знайшли мертвим 16 жовтня після вечірки, яка була присвячена його 72-річчю. Його тіло знайшов порноактор Рон Джеремі.
