У Франції меру міста Бове довелося вибачатися за першоквітневий жарт про прихід у місто меблевого гіганта IKEA, який мав би принести 4 тисячі робочих місць для городян.

Як повідомляє Європейська правда із посиланням на BBC, 1 квітня Каролін Кайо оголосила у своїх Facebook і Twitter про прихід нового магазину IKEA, і багато з жителів повірили у ці "чудові новини".

Однак через кілька годин місцеві були вже не надто втішені, оскільки мер уточнила, що оголошена нею новина не була правдивою. Каролін Кайо висловила жаль через свій "не дуже мудрий жарт".

У коментарі французьким ЗМІ вона сказала, що шкодує через те, що її "почуття гумору розділили не всі". Кайо додала, що у майбутньому новий комерційний проект за межами міста таки принесе 4 тисячі робочих місць для городян.

Однак деякі користувачі соціальних мереж залишились невблаганними. Один дописувач Twitter написав: "Ми всі будемо голосувати за вас на наступних виборах ... Першоквітневий жарт".
