Нинішній північнокорейський лідер Кім Чен Ин та його покійний батько Кім Чен Ир використовували підробні закордонні паспорти громадян Бразилії для отримання віз в іноземних країнах в період з 1996 по 2006 рр.
 
Про це повідомляє Reuters із посиланням на кілька джерел, які працюють у сфері безпеки в Європі та Бразилії.

"Вони використовували ці бразильські паспорти, які чітко демонструють фотографії Кім Чен Ина та Кім Чен Ира, для того щоб спробувати отримати візи в іноземних посольствах", - заявило одне із західних джерел на умовах анонімності.

За словами іншого джерела, "це вказує на спроби правлячої сім'ї побудувати можливий маршрут евакуації".

Агентство також наводить фотокопії паспортів з фотографіями, де можна відрізнити обличчя нинішнього й колишнього лідерів Північної Кореї. Крім того, зазначається, що їхні зображення також ідентифіковані за допомогою спеціальних технологій розпізнавання. На обох паспортах стоїть дата видачі 26 лютого 1996 року зі штампом "Посольство Бразилії в Празі".

У документах старший Кім має ім'я Іджонга Чої, молодший – Йозефа Пваг. Причому відомо, що ці паспорти були подані для отримання віз принаймні у двох західних країнах. Загалом, паспорти могли використовуватися для подорожей до Бразилії, Японії та Гонконгу.

Посольство Північної Кореї в Бразилії відмовилося коментувати ситуацію. Водночас, Міністерство закордонних справ Бразилії заявило, що проводить розслідування з цього приводу.

Джерело в структурах безпеки Бразилії зазначило агентству на умовах анонімності, що бланки паспортів, про які йдеться в публікації, є справжніми. Вони були випущені під номерами для використання в консульських установах за кордоном.
