Коту Пальмерстону із МЗС Великобританії надали власний військовий караул.

Про це повідомляє УНІАН з посиланням на The Daily Mirror. Кота Пальмерстона зустріли біля будинку шестеро гвардійців-гренадерів у блискучих сірих піджаках і ведмежих шкурах.

Фото цього було виставлене в твіттері, де помічник глави МЗС Саймон Макдональд подякував притулку для собак і котів, з якого взяли Пальмерстона.

"У минулому році він був на вулицях, тепер він отримує повагу, якої він заслуговує в міністерстві закордонних справ", - сказав він. Також Макдональд  побажав усім "щасливого Різдва".
