Колишній віцепрем’єр-міністр України та соратник президента-втікача Віктора Януковича Борис Колесніков в етері телеканалу «Україна 24» образив громадську діячку й письменницю Ларису Ніцой.

В етері програми «Народ проти» розгорілася суперечка щодо штрафів за порушення статті 30 Закону України «Про забезпечення функціонування української мови як державної». Наразі штрафи хочуть відтермінувати чи взагалі скасувати.

Лариса Ніцой зазначила, що влада робить усе можливе, щоби сподобатися саме російськомовним українцям, а про українськомовних забуває.

Наприкінці етеру Колесніков викрикнув відомій захисниці мови таке: «Ви – правнучка нацистського поліцая. Ви – бездомна блохаста сучка». Потім він її назвав «шавкою бродячою».
 

Як відомо, 16 січня 2021 року в Україні відбувся остаточний перехід сфери обслуговування на державну мову. Відповідно до закону, всі надавачі послуг, незалежно від форми власності, зобов’язані обслуговувати споживачів і надавати інформацію про товари й послуги українською.

Штрафи за відмову обслуговувати клієнтів українською мовою з'являться у 2022 році.

Петро Порошенко, заявив, що «Слуги народу» підготували чергову атаку на закон про мову. І різні угрупування всередині фракції змагаються між собою, як би завдати дошкульнішого удару по позиціях української мови у сфері послуг.
