Міський голова Києва Віталій Кличко вважає, що за 7 років роботи звільнений міністр внутрішніх справ Арсен Аваков вибудовував роботу відомства з нуля і подякував йому за конструктивні відносини.

"Понад 7 років він очолював відомство, роботу якого довелося, по великому рахунку, вибудовувати з нуля. Розпочати реформу і трансформацію правоохоронних органів, створити національну та патрульну поліцію. Забезпечувати правопорядок в країні, яка 7 років протистоїть російській агресії.

Так, в МВС, як і в роботі інших державних інституцій, не все ідеально. Викликів іще багато і є над чим працювати. Але в 2014 році, за міністра Авакова, був закладений фундамент для кардинальних змін в правоохоронній сфері. І це треба визнати.

У мене, як мера столиці, завжди були ділові і конструктивні відносини з міністром Арсеном Аваковим і я хочу щиро подякувати йому за це", - написав на Facebook-сторінці Кличко

За його словами, наступний міністр має продовжити реформу в правоохоронних органах: "Щоб люди довіряли поліції".
