Глава Чечні Рамзан Кадиров назвав тих, хто пише «плітки» про республіку, в тому числі ліберальні ЗМІ та правозахисників, «шайтанами».

Про це він заявив на засіданні колегії місцевого МВС, його промову показав телеканал ЧГТРК «Грозний». «Запросили людину, розмовляєш з ним дві години, виявляється, його затримали.

Чоловік поїхав у П'ятигорськ, проковтнув кілька таблеток, не приходить у себе, кілька днів там перебував, потім приїхав додому, але до цього всі пишуть, мовляв, викрали, вбили, поверніть, де ви та що ви. Краще б наглядали за своїми наркоманами, ніж звинувачувати нас у всіх гріхах», – заявив він. Як зазначила ведуча телеканалу у підводці до слів Кадирова, «особливо стараються» правозахисники та ліберальні ЗМІ. Вони «за вказівкою своїх хазяїв строчать проплачені статті проти Чеченської республіки», - йдеться в сюжеті.

Сам Кадиров закликав не звертати на це увагу і не коментувати такі матеріали: «Я їх не вважаю людьми. Я їх вважаю шайтанами – без честі, без релігії, без моралі».
