Сотрудники британского издания «The Times» признали ошибку в публикации, где незаконно аннексированный Россией Крым был изображен на карте как территория РФ. Как передает PRпортал, об этом идет речь в опубликованном сегодня заявлении издания.
«Подавляющее большинство стран (включая Великобританию) не признают аннексию Россией в 2014 году украинского Крыма и осудили ее как противоречащую международному праву. Приносим извинения за ошибку. Мы извиняемся за ошибку» - говорится в заявлении «The Times».
В то же время представители украинского дипломатического ведомства дали высокую оценку ответу газеты. «Каждый может совершить ошибку. Что важно - признать ее и правильно исправить. Мы очень ценим!», - говорится в Тwitter украинского посольства в Великобритании. Ранее уже сообщалось, что популярная газета «The Times» опубликовала карту, на которой Крымский полуостров обозначен тем же цветом, что и Россия.
