Ирина Геращенко, первый вице-спикер Верховной Рады, перепутала Евросоюз и Россию, - сообщает PRпортал.  На своей странице в Фейсбуке она разместила пост об антироссийских санкциях и попала в очень неловкое положение. 

Нардеп написала пост со ссылкой на новость, размещенную «Европейской правдой», в котором отметила, что Россия понесла убытки от санкций на сумму в 17,6 миллиардов евро. Геращенко невнимательно прочитала статью, поскольку речь в ней шла об ущербе, нанесенном Евросоюзу. Некоторые пользователи сразу заметили ошибку в посте и написали об этом, после чего Геращенко удалила запись в Фейсбуке. Нужно отметить, что подсчетом убытков от санкций занимались сотрудники Австрийского института экономических исследований. 

Они привели статистику за 2015 год и указали, что в результате санкций, введенных против России, страны Евросоюза в 2015 году понесли убытки на сумму, превышающую 17 миллиардов евро. Кроме того, санкции привели к безработице – в Европе были потеряны 400 тысяч рабочих мест.
