Мжід Ель Герраб, член партії LREM президента Еммануеля Макрона, нібито побив соціаліста Бориса Фора на вулиці в Парижі, завдавши йому травм голови. Інцидент стався 30 серпня.
Герраб заявив, що він виходить із партії, "щоб не перешкоджати роботі парламентської більшості". Французькі журналісти зазначають, що ці два політики ворогували місяцями.

34-річний Герраб був одним із багатьох молодих депутатів від партії Макрона, який виграв на парламентських виборах у червні. "Я ще раз висловлюю своє щире співчуття через цю подію", - заявив Герраб.
Герраб сказав, що Форе спровокував його, ображаючи його північноафриканське походження. Зокрема Форе нібито говорив про "брудних арабів".
Повідомляється, що Герраб двічі вдарив Форе шоломом. Депутат-соціаліст кілька днів провів у лікарні. Він заперечує, що ображав Герраба і провокував бійку.
