У пресрелізі мюнхенці привели слова спортивного директора Хасана Саліхаміджича. Як виявилося, ті ж слова використовували в пресрелізі про звільнення Карло Анчелотті, тільки обидві цитати нібито належали президенту клубу Карл-Хайнцу Румменігге.

"Тепер я очікую від наших гравців позитивного розвитку і абсолютної волі до досягнення наших цілей цього сезону", - цитує прес-служба Саліхаміджича.

"Досягнення нашої команди в останні тижні, а також результати показали нам, що необхідно діяти. Ми відкрито і серйозно поговорили з Ніко і всі прийшли до єдиної думки, що Ніко більше не буде тренером "Баварії". Ми всі шкодуємо про це. Я хотів би подякувати Ніко Ковачу від імені "Баварії" за його роботу, особливо за подвійну перемогу минулого сезону", - сказав Румменігге.

Ковач очолював "Баварію" від літа 2018 року. З ним клуб виграв Бундеслігу, Кубок Німеччини та Суперкубок.
