Телеканал CNN переплутав Україну на карті з Пакистаном. Крім того, телевізійники помістили на кордон з Україною Чехословаччину.

Редактор і журналіст впливового американського видання The New York Times Макс Фішер представив свою колекцію географічних ляпів американських телевізійників, пише "Голос Америки".

Так, у випадку України помилкова графіка супроводжувала освітлення т. н. "референдуму" на території ОРДЛО. Україна на карті опинилася на місці Пакистану. Крім того в іншому сюжеті телевізійники помістили на кордон з Україною в 21 столітті державу Чехословаччину.
