У результаті декомунізації, за яку проголосувала Верховна Рада тисячі вулиць і сотні населених пунктів повинні бути перейменовані. Під дію закону потрапили і назви міст, через що почалися гарячі суперечки в таких, як Дніпропетровськ і Кіровоград, повідомляють Українські новини.

 

Але декомунізувати закони, на відміну від вулиць, депутати так і не змогли. Житловий кодекс прийнятий у 1983 році і чинний із 1984-го і нині є чинним у діючій редакції в частині, що нібито не суперечить чинному українському законодавству.

Однак у самій же преамбулі Кодексу йде вихваляння Жовтневої революції.

"Втілюючи в життя ленінські ідеї побудови комуністичного суспільства і здійснюючи курс на підвищення матеріального та культурного рівня життя народу. Радянська держава послідовно

реалізує розроблену Комуністичною партією програму житлового будівництва", - сказано в ній.
