Представники гуртів «Бумбокс», «Океан Ельзи» і «Тартак» заявили, що не давали дозвіл на використання своїх пісень на концерті «Пісенна історія сучасної України» до Дня незалежності.
Продюсер «Бумбоксу» Олексій Согомонов на питання, чи зверталися до гурту щодо виконання їхньої пісні на концерті, відповів: «Ні, звісно, ніхто не питав».
На питання, чи буде Бумбокс судитися через використання в концерті їхньої пісні без дозволу, Согомонов відповів, що це «не має сенсу».
«Як пояснити, що "Вахтерам" — найвідоміша пісня гурту, але точно не найголовніша, тим більше для такого свята? Як пояснити, що держава повинна служити прикладом, а не опудалом? Як пояснити, що повага до музиканта / поета / артиста — це не нагороди, а розуміння того, що йому образливо стояти в одному ряду з деякими "колегами"? Такт і повага або є, або їх треба вбивати палицею», — сказав Согомонов у коментарі Громадського.
Про це ж сказала й представниця «Океану Ельзи» Вікторія Хоменко: «Щодо питань використання пісні "Океану Ельзи" сьогодні зранку — ні, не давали дозвіл! Ба більше — навіть не звертались».
Лідер «Тартаку» Олександр Положинськийтакож заявив, що пісню гурту взяли для концерту, не спитавши його.
Коментарів від Офісу президента не прозвучало.
Концерт «Пісенна історія сучасної України» відбувся в межах заходів святкування 29-го Дня незалежності. На ньому пісню «Вахтерам» гурту «Бумбокс» виконали «Время и Стекло», а «Там, де нас нема» «Океану Ельзи» — хор і Вєрка Сердючка.
Пісні гурту «Тартак» «Понад хмарами» і «Ні, я не ту кохав» виконали Ніна Матвієнко і Потап із Павлом Зібровим відповідно.
